Our services can only be requested by an official Law Enforcement or Emergency Management Agency, Department of Natural Resources, US Forest Service, US Park Service, or other appropriate agencies at local, state or federal level. Private citizens requesting our services are directed to contact their local Law Enforcement Agency, which will then contact us , if appropriate.

South Georgia Search Dogs was founded in 1999 to serve as a non-profit organization, created as a community resource for the general public and as a free resource to any law enforcement and emergency response effort. We do not charge for the services we provide; therefore, we can only exist through the general public’s generosity by donations of money, supplies or equipment. All donations are tax-deductible, as your generosity is the only assistance for SAR dog teams.

Remember, it is never too early to call in a search unit and there is no charge for our services; but please coordinate obtaining our services through your local Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, State or County Emergency Management Agencies.
